    Who are contacts of active cases?, explains Al-Qahtani

    There can be 4 categories of contact of coronavirus from an active case, explained Lt. Col. Dr. Manaf Al Qahtani, Member of the National Taskforce for Combating Coronavirus (COVID-19).

    The 4 categories are:

    Household: People who got infected due to using the households of the confirmed case or the suspected case which turns out to be an active case.

    Closed Environment: People who got infected with COVID-19 in closed environments like classrooms, meeting rooms, waiting room in hospitals.

    Health centres or labs: People who get infected with COVID-19 in health centres and health labs.

    Physical contact: People who had physical contact with the infected person or by touching the droplets of the virus.

    “With the support of everyone and their commitment to responsibility, God willing, we will be able to successfully overcome the Coronavirus challenge,” Al-Qahtani added.
