Manama : Incumbent Bahrain Table Tennis Association (BTTA) Chairperson Shaikha Hayat bint Abdulaziz Al Khalifa has been reelected uncontested for a new term. Shaikha Hayat bint Abdulaziz expressed her gratitude for the trust bestowed upon her by BTTA General Assembly. 7 out of the 13 candidates who ran for the election, won BTTA board membership. Manama : Nine infrastructure projects worth BD11,293,,119 were awarded last month, said Works Ministry Undersecretary Shaikh Mishal bin Mohammed Al Khalifa. Abu Dhabi : The Foo Fighters will play the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2023 race day concert on November 26 at Etihad Park. The performance by the American rock group will be the last of four after race concerts beginning from November 23. Kicking off the series will be Dutch DJ Tiesto and US pop star Ava Max with the remaining two concerts on November 24 and 25 to be revealed closer to the date. BEIJING: China sentenced a 78-year-old United States citizen to life in prison Monday on spying charges, in a case that could exacerbate the deterioration in ties between Beijing and Washington over recent years.
